Students will learn basic body positions and skills for tumbling. Basic skills learned
will include forward and backward rolls, bridges, handstands, cartwheels, and back
bends. Students will be introduced and prepared for more intermediate level skills
as they learn body control and master beginning level skills.
Students will work on increasing strength, flexibility, and body control. Tumbling
skills introduced will include back walkovers, round offs, and handstand forward
rolls. Students will be prepared to begin working on back handsprings as well as
more advanced tumbling and jumps.
Students will continue to increase strength, flexibility, and body control. Tumbling
skills will include round off back handsprings, front handsprings, back tuck and
front tucks through twisting.
